William T. Pearson 90 of Portsmouth, VA, died peacefully at his home on March 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Nathaniel Valentine Pearson and Ethel Dozier Pearson.
Bill is a World War II veteran having served in Germany in the 106th Infantry Division of the Third Army. Upon his return he started his own plumbing business, married Mary Hope and started a family.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Mary Hope Pearson and their three sons, Tommy (Terry), Lee (Lisa) and Larry (Kathy). Also surviving are grandchildren Jennifer Hrubiec (Ed), Kevin Pearson (Amaris), Jodie Wood (John), Chris Pearson (Kathleen), Jamie George (Jeff), Katy Straebel (Aaron) and John Iuliano (Liz). There are also 8 great grandchildren surviving, Zach, Bryce and Chase Hrubiec; Audriana and Isabel Pearson; Jordyn, Walker Leigh and Wally Wood.
The family will receive friends at Foster Funeral Home on Tuesday March 7 from 7 pm until 9 pm. There will be a graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Portsmouth Virginia at 11am on Wednesday March 8.
