PORTSMOUTH- William Howard Morgan, 82, died peacefully in his home Monday morning, August 27, 2018, with his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Anne Russ Morgan, by his side.

Billy was born in Davy, WV on December 16, 1935 to the late Howard Ralph and Myrtle Dixie (Jones) Morgan.  He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, VA, and retired from the International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers Local 79 in Norfolk.

In addition to his parents, Billy was predeceased by his son David Russell Morgan of Oakland, CA and his brother Ralph Wallace Morgan of Chesapeake, VA. He is survived by his sons Steven Michael Morgan (Cathey Ann Morgan) and Jeffrey Alan Morgan, both of Chesapeake; his daughter Tina Marie Mulder (James P Mulder) of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church of the Resurrection. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
