PORTSMOUTH—Tommy Eugene Facenda, 57, passed away October 29, 2021, at home with his beloved mother and father by his side. He was born in Portsmouth and was a graduate of Manor High School.

Tommy was a kind and gentle person who was loyal to his friends and family. He had a deep passion for music and was an accomplished guitar player. His religious faith was strong and practiced daily. He also had a special place in his heart for animals.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Eugene T. Facenda; his mother, Patricia Gail Facenda; his two sisters Gina Facenda, Angela Facenda Klecka and husband Tommy; a nephew, Zachary Klecka and wife Audrey; a niece, Holly Monell and husband Michael; great-nieces Sydney, Brooklyn, Lucy and Lydia; and great-nephew Simon.

A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 6, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
