Obituary

Timothy A. Bradshaw "Blue" (77) peacefully passed away on December 30, 2025, doing what he loved most. Born on September 13, 1948, Tim was the son of the late Wallace and Francis Bradshaw. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Verna Facenda Bradshaw, his brother, Donnie Bradshaw and his two sons Timothy and Richard Harrell. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Bradshaw, stepdaughter, Sharon Turner and grandchildren, Timothy Harrell Jr., Richard Harrell III, Jennifer P. Cote, Kelly Weymouth and four great-grandchildren.

Tim was a native of Portsmouth and worked in the Norfolk Naval Shipyard for 38 years. He played baseball for the American Legion League in Portsmouth and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.

His great passion was hunting and fishing. He was a member of Newsome's Hunt Club in Newsome, Virginia, where he had many family and friends. He also crabbed commercially for years known as "Blue Crab."

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High Street, Portsmouth. Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 14, 2026, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 522 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
