Thomas Jackson Morgan, Sr., 69, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014.

Mr. Morgan was born in Portsmouth, VA, the son of the late Glenn and Jewell Morgan. He was retired from The Limited Corporation as a Regional Manager. He was a former Running Back in the 60's with the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Woodie Motley Morgan; two sons, Dr. T.J. Morgan, Jr. and his wife Tammy, Dr. Langhorne A. Morgan and his wife Jamie; a brother, Glenn W. Morgan, Jr. and his wife Ginny; 6 grandchildren, Elle, Tory, Jackson III, Austin, Elijah and Riley; K-9 companions, Clyde and Jodie.

A visitation will take place on Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Broad Street United Methodist Church, 300 Broad Street, Portsmouth, VA 23707. A reception will follow after.
