CHESAPEAKE—Suree Farrell, 73, passed away March 7, 2023 at her home. She was born in Thailand to the late Voon and Chaleo Sienghlo.

Suree was proud to have served as a Merchant Seaman on MSC ships as a Deck Hand, Steward and as the Chief Cook over her fifteen-year career. She was a Plank Owner on the USNS LCPL Roy M Wheat.  Her hobbies were taking care of her vegetable and flower gardens.  She was also enjoyed tending her many potted flower plants, including various orchids and flowers and hot red peppers from Thailand.

Suree is survived by her husband, Timothy F. Farrell; daughter Praoevalai McCall (Mike); sons Petapawn Naraphan, Chetapawn Naraphan, Timothy Farrell (Maria), Joseph Farrell, and Alex Farrell (Kay); ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
