Robert "Bobby" Emmett Davis, Jr. passed away on March 29, 2023.  Bobby, the son of Nancy and Robert Davis, Sr., was born on March 26, 1966 in Portsmouth, where he spent the majority of his life.  He was a proud Churchland High School graduate, class of 1984, and made many lasting connections with his fellow CHS classmates.

In 1992, he married Rachel Anne Turek with whom he had 4 children: Megan Paige (Hannah), Emily Aleece, Alexander Robert and Sean Thomas.  Sadly, Rachel passed away in 2016.  In 2018, Robert married Michelle Marie Wenslaff and also added a step-son, William Robert Goodwin, to the family.

Bobby worked as a civil servant for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard for 29 years until his passing.

Well-loved by his friends and family, Bobby was known for his outgoing nature and his ability to make people laugh.  Some of his favorite things included: going to classic rock concerts, playing the guitar, watching movies (especially Star Wars) and meeting new people from all around the world on his ham radio.

A memorial service will be held at the B.W. Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia on April 10, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
