Rachel Anne Turek Davis passed away 24 March 2016, in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was born on 13 August 1970 in Birmingham, Michigan, the daughter of Douglas Preston Turek and Karen Lynn Haberthur. The family soon moved to Virginia, where she lived the rest of her life.

In 1992, she and Bobby Davis were married in Portsmouth, Virginia. Her proudest achievement was their four children: Megan Paige, Emily Aleece, Alexander Robert, and Sean Thomas. Rachel was happy to be a wife and mother. Her favorite title was "Mommy."

She is survived by her mother, husband, and children. We will always feel her love and will never stop loving her. She was the kindest, most understanding, and best person that we will ever know. She was more than a daughter, wife and mother. She was our best friend. Her interests included music, films, reading, horseback riding, gardening, travel, caring for and advocating on behalf of those she loved.

A memorial service will be held at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High Street, Portsmouth, Virginia on 29 March 2016, at 6:30 PM. Instead of flowers, please donate to the Portsmouth Humane Society (website) to honor her love of animals. Condolences may be registered at bwfosterfuneralhome.com.
