Peggy Brown Williams Salafia, 71, passed away July 18, 2014. Now she is shouting God's praises and dancing down the streets of gold.

Mrs. Salafia was born in Portsmouth, VA the daughter of the late James and Martha Wright Brown and the widow of Robert E. Williams and Joseph J. Salafia. She was a Farm Fresh customer service representative, working for them for over 45 years. Peggy was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and their Sewing Club. She was a talented crafter.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Shirley Stinson and her husband Edd of Portsmouth, Martha Jordan and her husband Joe of Citronelle, AL; a son, Dennis Martin of Portsmouth; 2 grandsons, Joseph Scott Jordan and Marshall Rayford Jordan both of Citronelle, AL; her unconditional loving standard poodle, Pierre.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 p .m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014, with a viewing one hour prior to the Mass at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 34 Afton Parkway, Portsmouth, VA, with burial at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Following the burial, the family will receive friends at the Church.
