PORTSMOUTH—Patrick Michael "Mike" Horan died July 20, 2021. He was at peace, with his family by his side and Jesus surrounding us all.

Patrick Michael loved God, family, friends and Country. He was a lifelong Portsmouth guy, Cradock boy, motorcycle man and baseball lover. He was known as Cream Puff to many! He was a world traveler and always on the move. His career included many years at the shipyard as a Radiographer and as a Quality Assurance Manager at Moon Engineering. He was also a successful real estate investor and property manager. His love of travel and staying on the move included Harescramble races, dirt track races and membership in the Tidewater Dirt Riders.

He loved his Bible and enjoyed teaching the Word of God at church or his home Bible study. He was a member of Jackson Memorial Baptist Church.

Patrick Michael is survived by his loving wife, Deadri, who will miss his smiling eyes and her partner in fun and travel; his children and step-children, Tammy (Mark) Wehrlin, Jacqueline (Spencer) Folkner, Michael (LeeAnne) Horan, Autumn (Jim) Zaborowski, and Jack (Laurie) Faddis; his grandchildren Benjamin, Tristen, Cody, Jimmy, Daniel, Ashleigh, Brian, Travis, Alex, Stephanie, Truth, Jacob, Alec, and AJ; and his eleven great-grandchildren, who will miss his sugar, smile, laugh, antics, dirt-bike-loving, story-telling, bible-teaching, Christmas parties and summer vacations.

There will be a visitation from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 27 at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church, 4316 Bruce Rd., Chesapeake.
