Patricia Malone Outten, 74, passed away October 15, 2013.

Mrs. Outten was born in Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Marshall J. Malone and Verna Ione Malone. She retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a computer technician after 25 years of service. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was active in Trinity's Episcopal Church Women.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Lawrence E. Outten; a son, John T. Outten and wife Kimberly Sledge Outten; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Nichole Outten, Matthew Tyler Outten, Hannah Marie Gosey, and Cassidy Hope Gosey; several cousins and an aunt.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 28th, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church by The Reverend Kathleen M. Bobbitt. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to The Trinity Foundation of Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 Court St., Portsmouth, Va. 23704.
