Patricia Elaine Cordill Hynes, 60, passed away on November 30, 2015.
Patricia, a native of Richlands, Virginia, was a proud graduate of Portsmouth's Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1973. She was retired from Carpe Diem Children's Services, Chesapeake, as a bookkeeper after 15 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Edward P. "E.P." Hynes II; a son, Chris Gray and wife Lauren, and grandson, Jackson Gray; sisters, Gayle McCutcheon and Glenna Toliday and husband John; brothers, J.P. Cordill and Paul Wynkoop; and nieces, nephews and friends. She truly loved her grandson, Jack, and her dogs, Anna and Darby.
Friends may join the family Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Portsmouth Humane Society, 4022 Seaboard Ct., Portsmouth, VA 23701. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
