Patricia Gail Facenda

November 10, 1940 – June 9, 2026

Patricia Gail Facenda, lovingly known as Gail, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 85.

Gail found great joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved reading, gardening, rug hooking, and baking bread, especially sourdough. In her younger years, she worked as a substitute teacher for the City of Chesapeake, where she enjoyed helping students learn and grow.

Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene "Bubba" Facenda; her son, Tommy E. Facenda; her parents, Juanita and Morris Greer; her sister, Barbara Jo Warren; and her brother, David Greer Sr.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family, including her daughters, Angela Klecka and her husband, Thomas, and Gina Facenda; her sisters, Dee Mustin and Judy Bacle; her grandson, Zachary Klecka and his wife, Audrey; her granddaughters, Holly Monell and her husband, Michael and Alexrose Klecka; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Sydney, Brooklyn, Lucy, Simon, and Lydia.

Gail's kindness, strength, and love for her family will be remembered always by those who knew and loved her.
