PORTSMOUTH- And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…for nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much .  Michael J. Marchesani, 65, passed away on April 22, 2021.  He was born in Philadelphia, PA to parents Angelo and Josephine (Cowchock) Marchesani.

In 2011, Michael married the love of his life, Colleen, who survives him. He is also survived by his children Laura, Michael, Jr. (Kristen), and stepson Daniel; mother Josephine; brothers Joseph (Lorraine), Paul (Maria), and Angelo (Trish); and sister Maria (Effie).  He was predeceased by his father Angelo and daughter Stephanie.

Michael was known for his love of scrapbooking, on which he would spend hours in his spare time.  He was also very proud of his career of 47 years for the Department of Defense as an Engineer Technician.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Notre Dame De Lourdes, 950 Michigan Ave., Swarthmore, PA. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior.
