Mary L.V. Lowe, 87, passed away June 16, 2015.
Mrs. Lowe, a native of Floyd County, Va., had worked as a certified nursing assistant and hospital ward clerk at Portsmouth General Hospital for 29 years. She was the widow of Joseph C. Lowe since his death in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Ange and husband Clifford; three sons, David T. Sarratt and wife Ann, Louis J. Sarratt and wife Sandy, Arnold E. Sarratt and wife Jenny; two brothers, Arlington Conner and Ira D. Conner; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a step-son, Phillip Lowe.
Friends may join the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, Suffolk. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 19 at Liberty Springs Christian Church, 4213 Whaleyville Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
