CHESAPEAKE- Mary Regina (Jeanie) Merrall of Chesapeake, Virginia passed away on December 20, 2017 surrounded by family. Born in Binghamton, New York in 1925, she is predeceased by her husband, Gene; sons Edward and Michael; brothers James, Clement, Leo, and Raymond; and sister Winifred of Binghamton. She is survived by daughters Ann Marie, Judi Luffman of Portsmouth, Trish; son, Joe; seven grandchildren including Terri Hamm of Chesapeake and Anna Byrd of Portsmouth; and four great-grandchildren.
A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, at the Church of St. Therese, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. She will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with her recently-deceased husband, Gene. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
