Marion Adele Gardner's Obituary
Marion Adele Marshall Gardner, 87, passed away on May 2, 2015 in her home.
Mrs. Gardner was born in Scranton, PA , the daughter of the late Lester Guy and Irene M. Marshall. She was retired from Medical Records at Maryview Hospital. Marion was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church, Portsmouth. She was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Marshall and sister, Karen Marshall Robertson.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Loyed W. Gardner; a son, David Gardner (Pat), a daughter Amy Gardner Giles (Ed): 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Little Guy.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Westhaven Baptist Church, 4900 Caroline Ave., Portsmouth, VA. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow the service at Olive Branch Cemetery. The family would like to thank her care givers from Home Sweet Home, for all their love and care. B.W. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
