Marie Carmella Moorefield, 73, pass away on Saturday May 21, 2016 in a Norfolk Hospital.
Marie was born and raised in Monroeville, PA the daughter of the late Orlando Durso and Ida Verzinki. She was retired as a Nuclear Training Tech from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and had worked in Washington D.C. and South Carolina with 32 years of service. Marie was a member of the New Creation United Methodist Church, Aldersgate Campus in Chesapeake, VA. She was predeceased by a daughter Julie.
Survivors include her husband, Chris D. Moorefield; her three children, Kacey Huff, Kristie Bernier, John Doebler; and 3 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4320 Bruce Rd. Chesapeake, VA.
