CHESAPEAKE – Homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother Margaret "Peggy" Moran, 88, died November 21, 2024.

Originally from the Bronx, NY, Peggy was the loyal and faithful wife of Captain Eugene E. Moran, USCG.  She is survived by their three children, Eugene, Jr. and Elizabeth of Chesapeake VA, and Thomas (Kessadaporn) of Carrollton, Va; and one grandchild, David Michael, whom she adored.

Peggy moved her family to numerous USCG duty stations including New York, NY; Pensacola, FL; New Bedford, MA; San Francisco, CA; New London, CT; and Portsmouth, VA.

She was a faithful member of Church of the Resurrection, and her charitable, generous, and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16, at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
