Margaret Anne Foreman, 94, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2016.
A lifelong resident of Portsmouth, Ms. Foreman was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Having little family of her own, the members of her church, Monumental United Methodist, were her friends and family. Margaret Anne was blessed with a beautiful voice and sang in the church choir for 72 years. She was an avid bridge player and a longtime member of the Portsmouth Music Club. She will be greatly missed by all her caregivers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16th in Monumental United Methodist Church, Portsmouth by the Rev. Joseph Cailles. A visitation will be held starting at 10 a.m. at the Church. Burial will follow after the funeral in Oak Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth.
