CHESAPEAKE- Louis "Mac" Boyd, 83, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. He was born in Mount Airy, NC, to the late Howard and Lillian Moore Boyd. He was predeceased by his son, Louis M. Boyd, Jr., and his brother, Marvin G. Boyd.
Louis was a retired master electrician with the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Resurreccion Boyd; daughters Vivian Crouse, Catherine Gray, and Stephanie Wells; step-children Ronald McVey, Jr., Gloria McVey, and Donna Taliaferro; sisters Patricia McCormick and Shelby B. Stevens; and four grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, 11a.m. September 21, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake.
