SUFFOLK—Linda Eason Joyner, 73, passed away October 4, 2025. She was born in Portsmouth to the late Edward and Arlene Felton Eason.

Linda graduated from Portsmouth General Hospital Nursing School.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George G. Joyner III and their children: Christopher, Joseph, Matthew, Sylvie, and Emma.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
