Lilly Hancock "Lee" Taaffe, 89, died May 21, 2016.
Mrs. Taaffe, a native of Trenton, N.J., was the widow of Kenneth Edward Taaffe since his death in 2010. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol H. Taaffe and husband Kent B. Johnson, Jr. of Norfolk; two sons, Kenneth E. Taaffe, Jr. and wife Miriam of Lumberton, N.J., Andrew A. Taaffe of Devon, Penn.; three grandchildren, Jessica Taaffe, Brian Taaffe and wife Catarina, and Lindsey Taaffe.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016, in St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Reverend Scott Hennessey will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 201 St. Paul's Blvd., Norfolk, Va. 23510. B.W. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is assisting the family.
