PORTSMOUTH—Liberina "Libby" Palermo, 88, passed away December 12, 2023. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Raymond and Mary Bianco.

Libby was the owner of Great Expectations Hair Designers. Her passion for interior design and art was reflected in her home décor.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love of God and church was without end.

Libby is predeceased by her husband, Gasper Palermo. She is survived by her sons, Anthony Palermo and Raymond Palermo (Shana); sister Nancy Vaccaro; nieces Lisa and Jennifer; grandchildren Connor, Brandi, Nina, Tonya, and Lance; and great-grandchildren Quinn, Jaxtyn, Asher and Rhett.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth. The family will receive friends an hour prior at the church. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Suffolk. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
