Leonard Stransky, 82, finished his journey on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 and is now with the Lord.

Len was born in Frackville, PA on Feb.4, 1932. He was a graduate of Penn State and served in Korea with the U.S. Army. Len married his sweetheart, Ann Marie, on August 30, 1958 and they had 56 years together. He retired from General Electric after 28 years and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Stransky; a daughter, JoAnn Stransky Jarrad and her husband Mike, a son, Leonard Stransky, and a sister, Delores Gogar and her husband Bill and family.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 4 to 5:00 pm at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High Street, Portsmouth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 24, at 12:00 pm, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 518 High Street, Portsmouth. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. A reception will be held after the burial at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane.
