L. Fred Bruney's Obituary
Lindsey Fred Bruney, Jr., 76, passed away on April 30, 2015 in Maryview Medical Center.
Fred, a native of Roanoke, VA was a Mortgage Broker. He was a Graduate of Roanoke College and KA Fraternity. He was President of the River Point Homeowners Association, Past President of the Fairfax Station, Board of Directors at Woodlawn Plantation, Arlington, VA and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Portsmouth, VA.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth McCurdy Bruney; a son, Joseph Wells Burney, a daughter Lindsay Bruney Whitesell and a granddaughter, Emma Grace Elizabeth Whitesell.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday May 5, 2015 in St. Paul Catholic Church, Portsmouth by the Rev. Gino Rossi. Burial will be private at a later date.
