Kelly Suzanne Shepard, 38, went to be with the Lord, on June 15, 2015. She was a child who spoke volumes without saying a word and showed love to everyone who had a kind face. She taught her parents much more than we could teach her. She was a joy!
She was educated by wonderful Special Education teachers and aides in the Portsmouth Public School System. They contributed to her sweet spirit with their unconditional love. She was a long-time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and most recently, a member of Christ Church. Both congregations accepted her with love and open arms – always looking for ways to help.
Kelly was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Richardson, Jr., and her paternal grandfather, Mr. Marshall Shepard. Her Grandma Richardson was a major influence as Kelly grew into a more precious child each day.
She is survived by her parents, Ron and Anna Shepard, her Grandmother Shepard, her aunt, Anita Richardson, her uncles, Erv (Susan) Richardson and Raymond Shepard, as well as, several loving cousins.
