Richmond
Jutta Reagan Oldham, 79, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. She was born in Marburg, Germany, on July 15, 1945, to the late Charles and Renate Reagan.
She was raised in Portsmouth and lived in many different cities for her early adulthood before she landed in New Orleans, where she raised her children. In the early 2000s, she returned to Virginia and began volunteer work for The Parish Thrift Shop in Poquoson, which she would then call home for the next 20 years. Nearing the end of her life, she spent her remaining time in Richmond, living under the care of one of her daughters.
Jutta often enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her yard and garden. She was an avid reader and game player, enjoying any game she could find, from Scrabble to Candy Crush. She enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family and was always known for her selection of chocolates and hard candies scattered throughout her home.
In addition to her parents, Jutta was predeceased by her husband, Ron Oldham, stepdaughter, Kim Oldham, and her sister, Dorothy Camantigue.
She is survived by her children Melissa Foster (Victor), Stephanie Copeland (Ben), Shelley Jones (Ricky), Ronnie Oldham (Brooke), and Janette Oldham; stepdaughters Kathleen Oldham and Karon Oldham (Jackie); grandchildren Esja, Jami, Sarah, Grace, Gavin, and Olen; siblings Patricia, Veronica, Tommy, Michael, Eddie, and Nanette; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 522 High St., Portsmouth. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior. A burial will take place at All Saints Catholic Cemetery on Elm Ave., Portsmouth, and a reception will follow at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Ln., Portsmouth.
