CHESAPEAKE--Joel Patrick Harris, 59, lost his battle to cancer on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

After being trapped for 59 years in his physically and mentally handicapped body, Pat was welcomed as a whole and healthy man into heaven and the loving arms of his beloved parents, Larry and Henrietta Harris.

Pat is survived by his brother, Mike Harris of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters: Loretta Ritenour of Portsmouth, VA and  Debbie Morgan (Clell) of Hays, NC; as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rest in eternal peace, buddy! A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
