PORTSMOUTH-Joan "Jo" Ann Heath (Sheehan) Griffin passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. She was born in Leominster, MA on September 5, 1934 to Jean Ferguson Heath and Zenas Jesse Heath, who predeceased her.

Jo graduated from Saint Anne's School in Boston, MA and was a graduate of Mary Washington College. Upon graduation, she became a flight attendant for National Airlines, which later became Pan American Airways. Upon retirement from Pan Am, Jo moved to Portsmouth, VA., where she worked as a travel consultant at Travel Designers and later worked at Paperwhyte.

Jo Griffin leaves behind the love of her life, her husband, David S. Griffin, Jr.; her stepson, (Christopher) Troy Griffin and his wife, Vicky; her grandson Christopher Samuel Griffin; as well as many dear friends.

Joan will be remembered for her love of life, her great sense of humor, her many travel adventures and for the joy she brought her husband, David, and their many friends and neighbors in Admiral's Landing and in Portsmouth.
