Jean Owens Lightbody, 88, of Spring Hill, FL died January 2, 2014 at home after a long illness. Mrs. Lightbody was born October 2, 1925 in Portsmouth, Virginia where she grew up and was a member of Green Acres Presbyterian Church and Grace Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur William (Bill) Lightbody and her parents Joseph S. and Eva H. Owens. She leaves dear friends and neighbors and is survived by very close cousins in Virginia. A special thank you to her friend Sandra Cate and her caretakers, Donna Walker and Sharon Anderson for all their love and support. Visitation will be 1-2:00pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2014 with a 2:00pm service at Grace Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill, FL. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00pm in Oak Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth. Foster Funeral Home of Portsmouth is handling local arrangements.
