CHESAPEAKE—Jean Marie Klecka passed away in her daughter's arms on November 24, 2022, at the age of 92. She was born to Mary Ellen and Raymond Ernest Dodson on May 26, 1930.

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband Herbert, brother Thomas Ray Dodson, sister Elizabeth Parnham-Bothwell, great-grandson Mikey Sujansky, and niece Andrea Tabor. She is survived by her daughters Anita Klecka, Debbie McKenna and husband Jim, Mary Cosner and husband Lee; her son Tom and wife Angela; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

Her memory will be instilled in everyone who knew her, because of her generosity, kindness, and most of all her comical spirit.

A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, at the Church of St. Therese, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. Family will receive friends at the church an hour prior. Burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Portsmouth.
