Javaud Aubrey
Ahangari
Jul 30, 1997 — May 19, 2021
Chesapeake
CHESAPEAKE—It is with great sadness we announce our loving, kind-hearted and incredibly intelligent son, brother, and uncle has passed away on what we believed to be the early hours of Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Javaud Aubrey Ahangari was born July 30, 1997 in Norfolk, VA. He was a proud Iranian-American and, at 23 years old, he had accomplished more than most have by the age of 50. He was a loving son, an irreplaceable brother and an uncle most would dream for.
Javaud's educational career began at Grassfield High School, where he was a part of the Stem Academy. From there he went on to graduate from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. During his time at Old Dominion, he never took a summer off; he maintained school year round as well as an internship with SimIs, Incorporated. Upon graduation, he went on to work with SimIs full time as their lead mechanical engineer. He loved leading his team into the projects and deadlines building robots and creating. His last robotic project left him with his name on the patent at 23. In March 2021 he became a first time homeowner of a bachelor pad at the North End Beach in Virginia Beach. He accomplished so much, and we as a family could not be more proud of his success, his choices and the man he had become. This tragedy is beyond comprehension, it's not only a loss for our family but the entire community.
Javaud is survived by his father Amir Ahangari & mother Lorrie Ahangari; his sister Jessica Scott; his brother-in-law Christopher Scott; his nephews Christian Jay Reyes & Ezekiel BellAmir Scott; and his former brother-in-law and dear friend Justin Edward Reyes. Javaud is also survived by an extensive paternal family in Tehran, Iran including 2 aunts & 2 uncles and their families, as well as his grandmother, Parvenah Ahangari. On his maternal side he is survived by his aunt, Donna Dies.
