SUFFOLK—James "Jim" T. Randall, 59, of Suffolk, VA has reunited with his father, Clyde H. Randall, after passing away peacefully at home on January 3, 2023.

Jim was born to Clyde and Barbara Randall on August 4, 1963, at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. He attended Indian River High School, where he was a committed athlete and graduated with the Class of 1981. Jim started his forty-year civil service career in 1982 with the United States Navy. In 2007, he continued his career with the United States Coast Guard, where he worked until his death. During his career, he earned numerous honors and awards for dedication and hard work.

Jim was also involved with several charitable organizations, most notably: Loyal Order of the Moose, Knights of Columbus and the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

Left to cherish Jim's memory are his loving wife of 22 years, Angel; five children: Genevieve (Erik) Prager of Chesapeake, VA, Randall (Carolina) Annis of Vilseck, Germany, Kayla (Christopher) Gillitizer of Franklin, VA, Samantha Thomason, and Jakob Randall; his mother, Barbara; siblings Valerie and Duane; and five grandchildren: Zachary, Ayden, Mason, Lennox, and Lilly.

A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, at Church of St. Therese, 4137 Portsmouth Blvd., Chesapeake. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
