Hugh Patrick Morris, Jr., 73, died December 10, 2015.
He was born July 22, 1942 at DePaul Hospital, Norfolk as the second child of the late Hugh and Mary Morris. Pat, also known as "Ace", graduated in 1960 from Norview High School, Norfolk, and immediately enlisted in The United States Marine Corps Reserve. After completing his military service, Pat was honorably discharged. He was a graduate of Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Corporation Apprentice School and worked as a first class rigger. In addition, Pat was honorably retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where he was a Chief Shop Steward. Pat enjoyed playing cards, pool, and hanging out with family and friends.
Pat is survived by his sister, Patricia Anne Turner (Wesley); and his brother, The Reverend Anthony W. Morris. Other survivors include a nephew, John Turner (Kathy), and grandnieces Skylar and Emily; niece, Pamela Susan Wirth (David)and grandniece Reagan; and many extended family members living in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. Pat will be greatly missed by all.
