VIRGINIA BEACH- Gail Sprinkel Gwin, 72, of Virginia Beach, passed away on October 28, 2019 surrounded by her sons, daughters-in-law, and minister. She was born in Columbus, GA on December 29, 1946 to the late Joseph Sprinkel and Janelle Sprinkel.

Gail graduated from Jordon High School in 1964. She was a dedicated Civil Servant for the United States for over 40 years.

She was faithful member of Church of God, Worldwide Association. An avid camp volunteer of the COGWA Pre-Teen camp, she spent many summers as the Arts and Crafts Assistant at Camp Chattahoochee. She loved to play piano and passed along her love of music to her grandchildren. Her laugh was infectious and you could find her in a crowded room by just listening. Her friendly nature made it easy for all to love her.

Gail loved HGTV, Hallmark Murder Mysteries, Matlock, Murder She Wrote, Monk and Perry Mason. She would spray paint just about anything, including carpets, and loved to redecorate any space. She loved to drive fast—her speeding tickets were the proof.

She was the loving wife of the late Raymond Gwin, Sr. She is survived by her three sons, all from Virginia Beach: Bruce, Raymond, Jr. (Becki), and Andrew (Heather); and eight grandchildren: Trevor, Courtney, Evan, Colin, Reese, Emma, Elijah and Hunter.

A memorial service will held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, at Williamsburg Unitarian Church, 3051 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA.  Flowers may be delivered to the hall, but if you would like to donate to an organization in her name, please consider the COGWA Youth Camp Fund, P.O.
