CHESAPEAKE—Frank Orgain, 83, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025. A native of Farmville, Va., he was the son of the late Dolly Dunnington Orgain and Francis Leigh Orgain. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife and best friend, Pat Orgain.

Frank graduated from the University of North Carolina and proudly served his country in the United States Army. A man of quiet strength and unwavering integrity, he lived his life guided by duty, patience, and a deep commitment to the people and community he loved. An avid golfer, he treasured time spent on the course with friends and family, where his steady demeanor and gentlemanly nature were always on full display.

He is survived by his children, Jennie Every, Ashley Morgan, and Leigh Orgain; his sons-in-law, Mark Every and Brad Morgan; and his cherished grandchildren Cora, Garrett, Wade, Zeb, Frank, and Eve. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson, along with many dear friends who enriched his life and whose lives he touched in return.

Frank will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a true gentleman—someone who led with kindness, steadiness, and love. His legacy lives on in the family he was so dedicated to and in the many lives he quietly and profoundly influenced.
