CHESAPEAKE—Frank Joseph Dragan, Jr., 91, passed away peacefully, in the company of family, on August 5, 2021.

A lifelong resident of the Bowers Hill Section of Chesapeake, he was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a 1947 graduate of Deep Creek High School.  He retired from Naval Air Rework Facility in 1985, where he served as an aircraft electrician.  A US Army Veteran, Frank enjoyed family, farming, hunting, fishing, and sports.

Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Anne; daughters Charlotte Przyjemski (Peter) and Rachel Eley (Russell); four grandchildren: Brittany (Matt), Kayla, Russell IV (Chloe), and Bill; three great-grandchildren: Dylan, Madeline, and Laney; a sister, Blanche Jastrebsky; nephew Kevin Jastrebsky; niece Karen Shirah; and a sister-in-law, Elsie McRae.

Frank served others, as the Savior did, in so many ways, such as helping family members and others, and by performing simple, everyday acts of kindness.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
