PORTSMOUTH – Frances Buckley White, 78, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 8, 2023.  Born and raised in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Moynihan Buckley.

Frances and her husband Wayne were the founders and owners of BFW Electrical and General Contracting, where Frances served as the company's president and bookkeeper.

Frances was predeceased by her husband in 2011, after 41 years of marriage, and her brothers Dennis (A) and Terrence (B). She is survived by their children, David White and wife, Veronica, Billy White, and Cathy White; grandchildren Katelyn, Jonathon, Steven, and Annabelle; and her brother John Buckley and wife, Gayle.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, at Foster Funeral Home.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 522 High St., Portsmouth.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake.
