Floyd M. Willford, Jr., 82, passed away September 3, 2016.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Gloria J. Willford. An avid musician, he was never as happy as when making music with family and friends. With a firm handshake and a kind heart, his word was his bond.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, F. Larry Willford and his wife Nancy, and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at B.W. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Suffolk, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
