VIRGINIA BEACH- Eva S. Campbell, 89, died December 14, 2018, at Westminster Canterbury in Virginia Beach. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Eugen Anton Gabriel and Margaret Gabriel and was born in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Eva was retired from Allstate Insurance, where she had worked for 25 years as a claims adjuster. She attended Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Norfolk and was a member of the Hellenic Women's Club and the Philoptochos Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, William D. Campbell, and her grandson, William P. Houpos. Survivors include her daughter Margaret C. Houpos and husband Pete; grandchildren Demetrios P. Houpos and Christopher Houpos; and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Jacob.

A Trisagion service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, at Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. The funeral will be private.
