Emily Branon Owen, 91, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016.
A native of Portsmouth, she was the widow of Thomas D. Owen, Sr. Emily was a Volunteer with Meals on Wheels and a longtime member of Court Street Baptist Church. She was also predeceased by her son, Thomas D. Owen, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Owen Kenas and husband Paul; a son, Pat Owen and wife Sheri; a daughter-in-law, Judy Owen; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a sister Margaret Hervey and brother Lee Branon.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth by the Rev. Dr. L. Wilbur Kersey.
