Eloise Audrey Honaker, 103, passed away February 16, 2021. She was the only child of E. A. and Sadie Kingrae of Princeton, WV.

Eloise married her childhood sweetheart, Bowie Daniel Honaker, who was 74 when he passed away. They moved to Portsmouth in 1942, and she worked at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard during World War II. She later served as a librarian at Simonsdale Elementary School.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eloise is predeceased by her nephew Stephen Honaker. She is survived by her brothers-in-law, Robert and William Honaker; her sister-in-law, Mary Helen Segall; nieces Jean Singletary, Deanna Abernathy, and Mary Beth Honaker; and nephews Paul, James, John, and Darrel Honaker.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, at B. W. Foster Funeral Home, 1926 High St., Portsmouth. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
