Edward Cabot Wilson was born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 10, 1952 and departed this life on December 30, 2013. He was a devoted son, faithful friend and never met a stranger. His smile would light up a room; he loved his friends and family and had a fondness for cats, music and the river. A gifted designer, Cabot worked at Decorum Furniture for many years. He was predeceased by his parents Charlotte Ricketts Wilson and Edward E. Wilson.

He is survived by his brother, E. Craig Wilson and wife Kate and numerous cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 6, 2013 in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, VA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Norfolk SPCA, 916 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23504. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
