PORTSMOUTH—Colleen Mary Marchesani, 66, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024.

Colleen, a native of Long Island, NY, was retired from the Portsmouth Sheriff's Office, where she served as a Lieutenant.  She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Portsmouth, VA.

Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Marchesani, and is survived by her son, Daniel McCormick; siblings, Kathleen Perlman (Matthew), Maureen McCormick Grimes (George), Thomas McCormick (Diana), Kristeen Claudio (Jason); her best friend Susan Grammerstorf; and extended family members.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, at Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
