SUFFOLK--Charlotte Ann Holcombe Saunders, 83, passed away February 5, 2019 at her home at the Crossings in Suffolk, VA. She was born in Jefferson County, Alabama and graduated from Hueytown High School. She lived in Miami for many years and then in Niceville, FL, moving to Suffolk in 2016. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William Saunders, and her brother Billy Joe Holcombe.

Charlotte is survived by her brother David Holcombe; her stepchildren, Anne Shoaf, Dan Saunders (Liz), and Ellen Faust (Pete); 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
