PORTSMOUTH—Chappell G. Eure passed away on May 30, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia O. Eure; six children; and several grandchildren and great-gandchildren.

Chappell retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He was always happy visiting garage sales or anywhere else he could find a deal.  No matter where he lived, Chappell's home was always Portsmouth. He loved to tell stories to whoever would listen.
