CHESAPEAKE – Carolyn Elizabeth Waff Cullins, 97, passed away May 1, 2024. She was born in Portsmouth, VA on September 9, 1926 to the late Hugh Waff and Christine Stearns Waff.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and "Nana" throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Mills J. Cullins, Jr. and her son, Stephen Cullins.  She is survived by her daughter, Chrystal Hollowell; her grandsons, S. Troy Hollowell (wife Tiffany); Todd Hollowell (wife Blair); Ryan Cullins (wife Jeannie); her great-grandchildren Carli, Mason, and Caroline Hollowell; and family members Zach and Mack Clark.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Commonwealth Senior Living at Churchland House and Trinity Hospice for their compassionate care during a difficult time.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Southeastern Foodbank , Portsmouth or Chesapeake Humane Society or charity of your choice.
