PORTSMOUTH-Brenda "Nana" R. Bunting, 78, of Portsmouth, VA, passed away September 18, 2020 after courageously battling years of illness.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Cindy Williams; grandson, Ryan Williams; and many close family members and friends whom she dearly loved. She is predeceased by her father, William T. Bunting, Jr. and her mother, Frances J. Bunting.

Brenda was a career civil servant, calling Norfolk Naval Shipyard and Naval Station Norfolk home for over 30 years. She was also known in the community for her number of years at the Churchland Hallmark shop.

As desired, Brenda will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery, with a private burial at the foot of her father, William T. Bunting, Jr. Condolences may be registered at BWFosterFuneralHome.com.
