Blanche Cross Bisese, 80, a long time native of Portsmouth, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, and friend to many, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, October 18, 2015. She will be dearly missed by all. Born in Pensacola, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Delia Cross. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Dr. Samuel S. Bisese, her son, Patrick and his wife Lisa; her granddaughters, Ashley Eager and husband Wayne, Kyle Smith and husband Nate, her grandson Samuel Bisese, Summer Rhodes; and her great-grandsons Landon and Bennett Eager and soon-to-be Shearer Smith. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
The family expresses sincere thanks to her caregivers for the love and support they have provided to Blanche: Tricia Ennis, Margaret Newby, Suzie Townsell, Sabrina Cherry, Jackie Barnes and Catherine Hill.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, Oct. 22rd, 2015 at the Baker-Foster Chapel, 5685 Lee Farm Lane, Suffolk, VA. Burial will immediately follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
